CREEP CRUMBLE
Pig Creep Crumble
Woods Pig Creep Crumble is a complete stock feed suitable for suckling piglets over 10 days of age and weaned piglets up to 7 days post weaning. It is designed to help piglets through the transition from a liquid milk based diet prior to weaning, to a dry grain and protein meal based diet after weaning. It is formulated from highly palatable and digestive ingredients to encourage feed intake.
This crumble is composed of milled grains, protein meals
(soybean meal, meat meal, fish meal, blood meal, skim milk and/or whey powder), food by-products (biscuit meal, etc.), macro-minerals, trace minerals and fat soluble and B complex vitamins.
Feeding Guidelines
Offer piglets free access to Woods Pig Creep Crumble in trays or tube self-feeders from day 14 of age until weaning. Introduction of Woods Pig Creep Crumble before weaning ensures piglets are used to solid food which encourages feed intake post weaning. After weaning, for day 1 and 2, mix the crumble with water to make a porridge/gruel and supply in small amounts in open troughs 3-4 times per day to encourage all piglets to have a good feed. Continue supplying dry crumble for 7 to 10 days post weaning.
Ensure that piglets have sufficient feeder space and clean drinking water at all times to maximise feed intake.
Creep feeds initiate and promote gut health and digestive enzyme development to reduce incidence of post-weaning diarrhea while also improving weaning weight.
