Australian and international consumers are set to benefit from new investment in Woods Foods thanks to the Queensland Government’s Advance Queensland Ignite Ideas Fund.
The new funds will help Woods Foods expand its skills and upscale operations to establish new manufacturing techniques and introduce innovative pulse and sorghum-based food ingredients to more markets.
Already, Woods Foods has patented a puffing technique which delivers light and crunchy chickpea, faba bean and sorghum puffs that maintain their unique nutritional benefits without roasting or deep drying.
