BEEF FEED

FINISHER PELLET

Beef Finisher Pellet

Woods Beef Finisher Pellet is a medicated stock feed with minimum 22% NDF suitable to be fed as a complete feedlot finisher to growing beef cattle and cull breeders over 300kg live weight destined for the domestic trade or jap-ox markets.

Woods Beef Finisher Pellet is composed of hammer milled grains (maize, sorghum, barley and/or wheat), protein meals/seeds, fibre products (millrun, hulls), urea, macro-minerals, trace minerals and vitamins.

Typically Woods Beef Finisher Pellet contains 22mg/kg Monensin (Rumensin®) sodium, a rumen modifier that helps improve feed conversion.

Feeding Guidelines

Animals that have not been accustomed to grain feeding must be introduced gradually or it may cause bloat, rumen acidosis and/or possible death.

Before supplying this high grain ration, preferably feed cattle palatable grass/cereal hay for 1 or 2 days to ensure rumen fill and adequate rumination.

During introduction, offer stocks free access to Woods Beef All Rounder Pellet in troughs or self-feeders for the next 10 to 14 days to gradually adapt cattle to a grain ration. Then continue with Woods Beef Finisher Pellets until target market specifications are reached.
